I wish you would have demonstrated how to use it. Just bought one and when I used it, it stayed "pushed in" after I pushed it in. I expected it to pop back out, but it didn't.

DO NOT put "machine oil or grease" between the battery post and the cable/bolt. Just clean the dickens out of the mating surfaces. If you have a bit of DILECTRIC GREASE - that can be applied in accord with the directions that come with the stuff. DO NOT Grip the head of these (or any bolts) with Vise Grips! (unless you have no further use for the bolt ;) ! You do NPT want to take a chance of 'rounding' off the points on a bolt you'll need to keep/use. Generally speaking , one should disconnect the ground cable before removing teh positive cable. That way, if your metal wrench contacts the grounded metal part(s) of teh vehicle, you will NOT have a spark of any sort. Don't you wish that folks willing to take the time to make such a video would gather up the correct tools and learn teh correct way to use them before teaching others?

Your best tool is not a pair of Pliers! Using pliers instead of teh proper size (5/16"?) six-point socket - they sell them at the same store that sold you the bolts.

Awesome! I was looking up how to tighten the freezer handle via the model # of my Maytag freezer and I came across your video. Needless to say, in minutes I FIXED it!! Thanks for your help from a sole-providing single mother who would rather learn to try to fix what I can than waste money I don't have. As for my favorite tools, I have a screwdriver with interchangeable heads I find it is often helpful, and failing that ages ago a family member gave me a compact little tool kit and it's also been pretty helpful. I also have a saved collection of Allan keys from this and that too. Thanks again! It's amazing how such a little thing can provide so much stress relief! 😊
